The Equinox and The Bazaar of the Bizarre

Wed Sep 23, 2009, 6:47 PM
Yesterday was the autumn equinox. I will miss summer. but not yet since the weather is still really warm. There are nice things about fall, like the colors of the leaves and the way the lighting changes making the mornings and the evenings have a slight golden hue. There are also many things to do. Like going to the Bazaar of the Bizarre in Toronto. This year, the Royal Sarcophagus Society is not sponsoring the event, although they will be present. This years event is being organized by Plastik Wrap. A designer, clothing group based in Toronto. Most of the RSS members are taking part and there are also many new exhibitors brought in by Plastik Wrap. So if you like strange and Bizarre art, crafts and people come to the Bazaar on October 25th. You won't be disappointed. Yours truly will be there with my chain maile, pumpkin beads, and of course The Tree. The Bazaar will be at 6 Noble Street on October 25th, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.. Admission is free. Check out the Royal Sarcophagus Society website for complete info and a partial list of artists. Have a great and beautiful fall. Member *ArtisanCraft *JewelryClub

Nothing realy

Winter is getting old, and I'm tired of freezing. I recently spent some time in a warmer climate and took a lot of photographs. I just put up a couple that I thought were a little interesting. Something other than ice and snow to look at. You people who don't live in the frozen north lands are lucky.

Canzine Toronto

Wed Oct 22, 2008, 6:49 PM
Just this past Sunday I was at the Royal Sarcophagus Society's Bazaar of the Bizarre. Now this coming Sunday, October 26, 2008 I will be at Canzine. Canzine is described as Canada's largest Zine Fair and Festival of Alternative Culture. It will take place at The Gladstone Hotel, 1214 Queen St West just east of Dufferin in Toronto, Canada. The Fair starts at 1 p.m. and ends at 7 p.m. I was in this fair last year and it was a really great event. There will be visual, performance, musical and written art. Art of all types fills every nook and cranny of the Gladstone Hotel. If your in Toronto this coming Sunday do come to the Gladstone. The fair is organized by Broken Pencil Magazine and the admission price includes a years subscription to the magazine. There is something there for everyone. You won't be sorry if you go and you might be sorry if you miss it. Also thanks to everyone who dropped in to the Bazaar of the Bizarre.

Bazaar of the Bizarre

Tue Sep 16, 2008, 5:39 PM
On Sunday, October 19, 2008 there will be a gathering of artists, designers, writers, book makers, chocolatiers, and other various eclectic types plying their wares at 6 Noble Street, Toronto, Canada. I myself will be there to tempt you with decadent and dark adornments for the body. A marketplace for all your Halloween Holiday needs, and perhaps other Holidays as well. Be sure to stop by if your in Toronto. Doors open at 11a.m. and close at 6p.m. The location is one block west of Dufferin Ave., just off Queen. Stop by and browse or just to say "Hi". The Royal Sarcophagus Society always puts on a good show!
